Config-to-Code is a powerful platform for generating Crestron custom programs.
Whether you're a seasoned programmer looking to take the drudgery out of the mundane programming tasks of BACnet or a complete Crestron novice looking to deploy DALI DT8 lighting into a Crestron Home solution, Config-to-Code may be just what you're looking for.
Based around "program generator plugins", Config-to-Code will take your input config, such as a lighting load schedule, and create a SIMPL program to suit. The output may be a skeleton for your SIMPL programmer to use with in their standard programming workflow, or it could be a complete program - we even compile it and upload it to your Crestron custom processor.
Depending on the plugin, this can extend the capabilities of systems like Crestron Home without any programming knowledge whatsoever.
Program Generation is currently supported for:
- DIN-DALI-2 DT8 support for use with Crestron Home (requires a separate SIMPL Home licence)
- BACnet generation - this can generate complete BACnet programs from a CSV file of BACnet objects, including custom logic (optional use of SIMPLified 2 productivity to extract program logic/hardware definitions)
The tool is dependent upon the standard Crestron dealer programming tools, so you must be a Crestron dealer to use this.
Each program generation will consume one or more Config-to-Code credits.
